Spurs vs. Cavaliers

In the latest news, the Spurs are still behind the Dallas Mavericks in the Southwest Division. Following this common trend throughout the season, the Spurs have more than 5 games to make up if they want to catch up to the Mavericks. Being a very unlikely scenario, the Spurs will have to hope for some serious luck to make it into the playoffs.
In recent efforts, the San Antonio Spurs have signed guard Garrett Temple for the rest of the season after having the rookie on a 10 day contract with the team. Hopefully this six foot six guard can bring a little needed help to the spurs offense. A 2009 graduate from LSU, Garrett was a very promising player coming out of a top Division one basketball program.
In relation to Trinity University, a rumor has been circulating that the Cavaliers will be practicing in our schools gym tomorrow, March 25, for their matchup they have against the Spurs on the 26th. I do not see why the infamous Shaquille O’Neil and Lebron James would want to practice in our Bell Center, but it could prove to be a quiet environment for them to practice. There should be many people supporting the Spurs at this game, for Cleveland is one of the biggest opponents any NBA team will face this season. Hopefully, with a little support and a lot of luck, the Spurs will win a very needed game to push for their spot in the playoffs.
